Juniors classes
Junior classes start are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6.00 - 7.30 pm. To enrol, download the Junior form on the "downloads" tab on the website and bring the completed form to any of the classes. With the Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest now showing, which contains lots of swashbuckling scenes, our juniors were asked by the O2 Centre in Finchley to put on a fencing display on Saturday 1 July. And what a magnificent display they did, with 9 juniors giving up their time to show their waiting public how fast and exciting epee can be with a match - Pirates v Musketeers. With each fight closely matched, it was a nailbiting finish with the Musketeers finally beating the Pirates. Thanks to those who provided the action, in the picture from back left - Tom, Victor, (not available - Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly), Armaan, Tom, Graysha, Keah, Raffi, Kai & Beau. Not forgetting the children's parents and guardians who also helped handing out club leaflets, Louis for refereeing and Alex, HFC's Head Coach for overseeing the event. On Saturday 20th May 2006, Haverstock School was host to the inaugural LPJS Haverstock competition! The event was a huge success with almost 100 entries across the U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups, both boys and girls. For a full report, click "Read More".
