The club is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from Tuesday 1 April 2008.  Times - 7.00 - 9.30 pm.

Junior classes return on Tuesday 8 April 2008 from 6.00 - 7.30 pm.





Bronze Medal at the Essex Open

Congratulations to Nick Perry on winning a bronze medal in the Men's Epee at the Essex Open this weekend.  Jonathan May (16) came L8, and Juliet Perry also achieved a L8 in the Women's Epee.

Mary Cohen - Women's Epee National Champion

Mary Cohen is Women's Epee National Champion following her winning fight against Jo Maynard this weekend.

Men's Epee Team National Champions

HFC are the Men's Epee National Team Champions for the 6th consecutive year.  The team beat Oxford University 45-43 in an exciting final. (picture to follow)

Congratulations also to Chris Kelly, Nick Perry,
Gianluca Farina and Andrew Culling.

The Women's Epee team won the bronze medal - well done
to Jo Beadsworth, Lea-Anne Lee, Emily Hepburn and
Flora Colmar.





Two Golds and two Silvers in LPJS Haverstock Epee

Haverstock Fencing Club hosted the LPJS Haverstock Epee at Islington Green School on Saturday 19 May 2007. 

Our junior fencersare certainly keeping up with Haverstock's senior fencers with the medals tally.

In the Boys U9, two brothers from HFC - Leo and Lucas Myers had to fence each other in the final.  After a close fought match Leo finally beat his younger brother 10-8 to win Gold with Lucas winning Silver.

Jonathan May, who last year won the Boys U15 Gold medal, and is now in the Boys U17 age group struck Gold again.

Srey Beaulac came 2nd in the Girls U15 and gained a Silver medal.

Congratulations and thanks to Leo, Lucas, Jonathan and Srey, and all our Haverstock juniors who fenced this weekend.





HFC - back in training

HFC seniors are open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7.00 - 9.30 pm.
Junior are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6.00 - 7.30 pm.




Chris Kelly wins Men's Epee at Birmingham

Congratulations to Chris Kelly who won Gold in the Men's Epee at Birmingham this weekend.  He beat Quentin Berriman in the final 15-10.  Nick Perry came 7th and Gianluca Farina 11th.

Congrats also to Juliet Perry who won the Bronze medal and Lea-Anne Lee came 8th in the Women's Epee.

Some great results, well done and thanks to everyone who fenced.

 

 

 





Irish Nationals - 2nd, 3rd & 8th places

Well done to Donna Donnelly winning silver in the women's epee at the Irish National Championships this weekend.  

In the men's epee Paul Fitzpatrick won bronze and Niall McGinley came 8th.
