5th place for Adrienne at Plymouth

Well done to Adrienne Quartery who came 5th at the Plymouth Open.




James Hoggarth wins bronze at Welsh Closed

At the Welsh Closed competition last weekend, James Hoggarth was narrowly beaten 15-14 by Nicky Lee to win the bronze medal.  A very good result, well done James.  




HFC wins gold & 4 bronze medals at Cambridge Winter

Congratulations to Juliet Perry who won the gold medal in the women's epee at the Cambridge Winter Open, the first competition of 2007. Adrienne Quarterly & Chrissie Flounders won bronze medals, and Bronagh Keppler L8. 
In the men's epee two more bronze medals were won by Jerry Raj & Alex Upcraft, and James Hoggarth L8.

Congratulations to Gianluca Farina who came 2nd in the Men's Epee.  Chris Kelly & Nick Perry were both L16.  In the Women's Epee Jo Beadsworth came 10th with Lea-Anne Lee, Harriet Lamborn & Emily Hepburn L32. 
 
ps well done to Jo Beadsworth who came an admirable 36th in the Women's Sabre on Saturday - it may be the start of Haverstock Sabre Club!

Chris Kelly wins Epee Club Cup

Another victory for Haverstock as Chris Kelly won the Epee Club Cup competition this weekend.  From the L8 he beat Tom Bennett 15-2, Jonathan Bradley 15-5, James Taylor 15-12, and finally Tristan Lane.  Some really tough competition.  

Congratulations!





Bedford success

At the Bedford Open this weekend, Chris Lagen won gold in the Men's Epee, with Toby Blench L8 and Will Miller L16.

In the Women's Epee, Outi Nevala came joint 3rd and Chrissie Flounders 5th. Well done everyone.
