Personal Comment: I started fencing at the City of London School in 2000, and have been coached by Marek Stepien since then. I have been fencing competitively since 2001: my first competition was the Public Schools (I fenced foil and sabre - not épée), swiftly followed by a gutting attempt at the Essex Open (épée this time)! I am currently ranked 10th in the Juniors and 66th in the Seniors. I have recently been selected to fence in the Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Chennai, India January 2006.
